ShipHero


Inventory is a feature supported for Decorator Pro producing volume in house or through the Network for those on the Discount Tier 1 or Discount Tier 2 plan. 

Fulfill Engine offers an integration with ShipHero through Shopify. This allows you to keep any pick-and-pack (3PL) inventory within ShipHero, while harnessing the power of Fulfill Engine's software for print-on-demand (POD). 

Integration

First you will need to connect your Fulfill Engine account to the Shopify store. If you have not already done this, you can follow the process here by requesting Collaborator Access. 

Once the Shopify store is connected, you will need to contact our team at info@fulfillengine.com with:

The store you are wanting to connect

  • A user ID for that store
    • This will need to be credentials for the store, and not the warehouse
  • The password for the user ID provided
  • ShipHero Location ID

With that information, we will connect ShipHero to the Fulfill Engine store. Depending on the store, please allow up to  48 hours for integration. 

 

Order Processing

When an order is placed, it will process from Shopify through ShipHero. Anything that is POD will pass from ShipHero to Fulfill Engine for production. Anything that is solely 3PL will live in ShipHero. Let's breakdown the order flow depending on order type. 

  1. 3PL only
    This type of order does not exist to Fulfill Engine. It will process from Shopify to ShipHero for processing.
  2. POD only 
    This type of order will process through Shopify to ShipHero, who will pass it to Fulfill Engine for production. Once complete, the order will be marked produced within the Fulfill Engine software at shipping. Instead of a label being generated, the scan will open the shipment within a new tab in ShipHero. There you are able to generate the shipping label. ShipHero will then communicate to Shopify that the order has been completed and provide a tracking number. 
  3. Mix of 3PL and POD
    A mixed order will send all POD items to Fulfill Engine. Within ShipHero, the order will show the status "Fulfill Engine" while the POD items are being produced. 

    Once the POD items have been completed, the status within ShipHero will change to "Fulfill Engine Ready." This is the prompt to pull the packing note Fulfill Engine provides, which shows the location of the POD items.

    When the order is shipped within ShipHero, it will be automatically be marked as completed within Fulfill Engine.
