Setting up Hot Folders

Hot folders are used to automatically print QR labels and shipping labels.

Fulfill Engine offers an application to automatically print QR stickers and shipping labels.

The applications require Windows and are not compatible with Macs. 

  1. Have a Windows machine
  2. Download the Windows hot folder application

  3. Download the Fulfill Engine installer
    <https://stffe1prodncus.blob.core.windows.net/tools/FulfillEngineInstaller.exe>
  4. Run the Fulfill Engine installer, choosing to install the "Hot Folder Printing App"
    > You will not need to take any action on the app, but it will need to run in the background
  5. Within the Hot Folder Printing App, open File > Settings to customize settings
  6. Set the “Folder to watch” to your PCs download folder
  7. Select the checkbox for "Print only Fulfill Engine files" 
  8. (Enterprise only) Set priorities within the dropdown
    > Match only the SLAs offered within Sales Portal 
    > This step is not applicable for shipping labels

For receiving, when "Receive and print stickers" is selected on a PO and for shipping when a QR code is scanned, the app will notice when Fulfill Engine PDFs are downloaded to the PC download folder and automatically print them. 

If you do not have Hot Folders set up, when QR Stickers and/or shipping labels are downloaded, they will be held in the download folder and will need to be manually printed.
